I may not know your name, I may not know your physical stature, I may not know your hobby nor your spiritual growth, but what I certainly do know is that you need my prayers. Well, dear future husband, I believe that one day I will be able to strongly affirm “this is the husband that I have been praying for”.
Honestly, at times it feels so weird to pray for someone or even talk about someone that you have never seen but again when I think of the kind of husband that will be my partner, my soulmate, my heartbeat, I hear Luos’ call them ‘osiep chunya’ which means a friend to my heart, then prayer becomes my weapon; it becomes my daily bread.
Dear future husband just do these three things for me. Find God. Find yourself. Come find me. I know most ladies would want a guy that would value, respect, understand and that would be the priest of their homes and definitely, I would want the same right? Hahaha, you bet.
Abba Father, I want a FAT husband, by this I mean, F for being Faithful. A for being Available, not only for me but for the children too and T for being Teachable. I am tired of hearing macabre news in the media of a husband who killed his wife and the whole family; I mean this man once loved the wife, he once told the wife, I LOVE YOU, I can catch a grenade for you, I can die for you.
Lord, I want a husband that would wake me up at wee hours for prayers. Yes, prayers. God, I want you to teach him your ways and give him overflowing grace that would make him different-moreover- smart- intelligent and unique.
May the Almighty give you peace, a peace of mind to overcome each and every situation ahead. May you love God more than you will ever love me. May you walk according to His divine will and therefore dear future husband, may the Almighty grant you success in everything that you set your hands to do. May you be complete in the Lord and may he satisfy you. May you experience God’s goodness. Abba prepare him to be mature, yes I love maturity. Let his words, attitude and advise uplift other souls.
Dear God make him rich and generous. AMEN.
