SPAGHETTI SAUCE RECIPE

Ingredients

400g minced lean beef
Green bell pepper (1)
One large round onion
3 cloves of garlic
2 medium sized carrots
One can of canned tomatoes (800g)
Tomato paste (70g)
Salt
Grounded oregano
Cooking oil

Method

  • Chop the garlic,carrots,green pepper and onion.
  • Put the beef in a pot on medium heat and stir till it turns brown .empty the beef in a bowl after it turns brown.
  • Blend the canned tomatoes till they are smooth .
  • Put a pot on medium heat and add oil and let it heat for a minute.saute the onions,pepper and carrots till they are soft ,add in the garlic and stir till u can smell the garlic.
  • Add in the beef and stir ,add a litle bit of salt and pour in the tomatoes and stir again.
  • Add a pinch of oregano and and the tomato paste and stir well.Let the sauce cook it will take a while but its for the best results

Yummy I must confess every time i take take this sauce with my pasta i cant resist going for more servings no matter the mood am in.Make this for your guests the next time they come visiting .
Note / If you don’t have canned tomatoes you can use blanched tomatoes .
You can also prevent your pasta from sticking on each other by adding butter in the pasta after you have drained it
