In honour of African Queens ♕ You will never be forgotten. We will always tell your stories. We will always celebrate you. This piece is called Makeda. Named after the legendary Ethiopian Queen, better known to the world as the Queen of Sheba. The name Makeda means “not thus” supposedly because the Queen instructed her people that “not thus is it good to worship the sun, but it is right to worship God.” #VivienneTaa #Vivified #Taarrific
Considering she had lost her job and that is when she decided to follow her passion and venture into fashion, Vivienne gave an advice to the people out there, where she said;“Not having a job does not mean you’re a failure, you can still rise above the odds and excel. She has proven to be an ideal fashion designer an upcoming designer should look-up-to.
